Operator guide
This guide is the starting point for operators. It links to step-by-step instructions for all daily warehouse tasks in oneGRID.
As an operator you work from the Main Menu: you pick work orders, place items and containers into storages, sort items on the Put Wall or with Manual Sorting, and check stock. Which tiles you see depends on your permissions — if a task described here is not visible, see A feature is not visible.
Picking
- Pick a work order — process a single work order with light-guided shelf picking (Picker).
- Pick with a PickCart — process several work orders in one run with a cart.
- Pick with ISAC — pick several work orders with on-screen navigation to each location.
- Pick a single item — take a specific item out of stock without a work order.
Sorting
- Sort items on the Put Wall — distribute picked items into work order locations.
- Sort items with Manual Sorting — sort items into guided locations one by one.
Placing and containers
- Place items and containers — store items or containers into guided locations.
- Identify a container — look up what a container holds and where it belongs.
- Recycle containers — return emptied containers to circulation.
Stock
- Check and adjust stock — search items and locations, correct amounts, and find empty locations.
