Administrator guide
This guide is the starting point for administrators. It links to all setup and management tasks in oneGRID.
As an administrator you work mainly from the Management and Administration pages: you define storages and racks, manage items and work orders, configure how processes behave, and manage users and their permissions.
Set up the warehouse
- Storages and racks — create storages and build their racks, shelves, and locations.
- Storage settings — configure how picking, placing, and unloading are confirmed per storage.
- Location and container types — define the types and modes used when building storages.
- Process types — categorize work orders so operators can filter them.
- Manage containers — create and onboard the containers of your warehouse.
Manage work orders and items
- Create a work order — create a work order with a picking list.
- Import work orders — upload work orders from a CSV or JSON file.
- Manage work orders — view, edit, abandon, and restore work orders.
- Manage work order templates — define reusable templates that operators start orders from.
- Manage items — create and import items and manage their placements.
- Export data — write work orders out to a CSV or Excel file.
Configure the system
- General settings — system-wide policies for picking, container tracking, and lot tracking.
- Process configuration — link a PickCart or ISAC cart to a workstation.
Set up devices and IoT
- Onboard a device — register new hardware in oneGRID.
- Device setup — configure LED strips, sensor buttons, and maintenance actions.
- Device presets — reusable device settings.
- Monitor devices — check the connection status of all devices.
- ISAC codes — pair ISAC codes with storage locations.
Manage users
- Manage users — add users, assign permissions, and manage accounts.
- Permissions and presets — what each permission and preset allows.
