oneGRID Cloud Documentation

This is the official documentation portal for oneGRID Cloud and the CAPTRON oneGRID pick-by-light system. It hosts user manuals and Technical Reference Manuals (TRMs), published in English and German by CAPTRON Electronic GmbH.

What is oneGRID?

oneGRID is CAPTRON's pick-by-light system for intralogistics. It pairs hardware with software in one ecosystem:

  • smartCAP buttons — capacitive pick-by-light buttons, available in daisy-chain and IO-Link variants.
  • smartLED strips — shelf-mounted LED strips with up to 60 LEDs per metre, so individual storage compartments can be addressed precisely.
  • Controllers — connect buttons and strips, and supply them with both data and power.
  • The oneGRID app — maps warehouse structure and inventory management, and guides operators through every picking process.

The system is used for order picking (pick-by-light), put walls (put-to-light), mobile picking, and multi-order picking with a PickCart.
