Work order statuses
This page lists all statuses, checkout states, and origins a work order can have. Use it to interpret the work order lists and the History.
Statuses
The following statuses appear in the work order lists:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | The order is created and not yet started |
| Assigned | The order is attached to a storage or process and is being worked on |
| Paused | Processing was started and interrupted; the order can be continued |
| Completed | All positions were picked and confirmed |
| Completed with cancelations | The order was finished, but one or more positions were canceled |
| Canceled | The order was canceled |
| No items | The order contains no items and was closed automatically |
| Abandoned | The order was taken out of processing manually; it can be restored from the History — see Manage work orders |
| Unknown | The status could not be determined |
Checkout states
When a work order is counted with Checkout, the History and every work order details view show where its checkout stands. They show this on every account, whether or not it holds the Checkout permission or license. A work order without any of these indicators has not been checked yet.
| Indicator | Where | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Checked chip | Next to the status, in the History list and in the work order details | The checkout of the order is finished |
| Checkout row reading In progress | Work order details | Counting has started, and the checkout is not finished yet |
| Checkout row with a date and time | Work order details | The checkout was finished at that time |
Once counting has started, each item in the work order details carries a checkout status:
| Item checkout status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not checked | Nothing has been counted on the item yet |
| Ongoing | Fewer items have been counted than were requested |
| Checked | The picked and the checked amount both equal the requested amount |
| Exceeded | More items have been counted than were requested |
| Incomplete picking | Less was picked than was requested |
| Pick failure | More was picked than was requested; this points at inconsistent order data |
On the Checkout page itself, Not checked and Checked read Not started and Success. An item cancelled before anything of it was picked carries no checkout status.
Origins
Each order shows where it comes from:

|---|---|
| oneGRID System | Created in oneGRID or imported from a file; can be edited |
